Michael is confirmed to perform at the annual Tibet House Benefit Concert on Monday, February 26th, at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Artistic director Philip Glass has assembled an impressive line-up for this year’s event which, in addition to Michael, includes Laurie Anderson, Ray Davies, Philip Glass, Deborah Harry, Lou Reed, Sigur Ros, and Patti Smith.
Concert tickets are $35-$108 and can be purchased by calling CarnegieCharge at 212.247.7800 or in person at the Carnegie Hall Box Office (57th Street and Seventh Avenue).
This year, a portion of the party proceeds will go to the local Tibetan group, Tibetan Association of New York and New Jersey and a portion of the concert proceeds will go to Farm Aid and the Karin Berg Fund for the Myositis Support Group.
