Good news from Chelsea Manning today who reports being ok and in the groove of things after not having been heard from in nearly a week.
Mike’s “Concerto for Violin, Rock Band and String Orchestra” with Robert McDuffie will be released on October 14 on Orange Mountain. Their tour kicks off on October 20 in Miami, Florida.

R.E.M. will be among several acts (including Filthy Friends, Peter Buck’s project with Corin Tucker, Kurt Block, Scott McCaughey, and Bill Rieflin) contributing songs to 30 Days, 30 Songs, an independent website that will release one song per day from October 10 until Election Day.
