The Future of Music Coalition will host a house party tomorrow night to benefit New Orleans musician Al “Carnival Time” Johnson and Sweet Home New Orleans, an organization that seeks to bring musicians back to the city in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Mike will be on hand to lend his talents to the cause, called “Hope for Home,” which will feature a performance by Johnson and will include an auction on exclusive autographed merchandise from R.E.M. and Pearl Jam.
