As previously announced, R.E.M. will be playing this year’s SXSW Festival in Austin. We can now confirm that the band’s show will take place at Stubbs Bar-B-Q on March 12. More details to follow.
Local rockers The Drive By Truckers will be playing a benefit concert Thursday, January 10, at the 40 Watt in support of NuÃ§i’s Space, a resource space set up for Athens’ musicians whose mission is to promote the emotional, physical and occupational well-being of the music community.
