STARING DOWN THE HOMESTRETCH FROM THE THRILLING CITY OF LIMA

After another long day of flying, the band had a great late night arrival into Lima (see video below). Tonight, R.E.M. plays the Lima Hot Festival in Peru with special guests Travis, Cementerio Club, and Turbopotamos. This marks the band’s first concert in Lima, and it should be a really exciting night with a great crowd based on the reception the band has been receiving in Peru’s capital. The guys, once again, are looking forward to sharing the stage with Travis (check out their new record “Ode to J. Smith”) who played the Frequency Festival in Salzburg with R.E.M. back in August.
