“I’ve loved The Monkees from the date I first heard them all the way up to today. It was an incredible honor to co-write a song with Scott McCaughey for The Monkees and the title track to boot!
I only had the pleasure to meet Mike, Mickey and Peter, but they were as much of a gas as they were in 1966. And so long Davey and Peter; I reckon we will meet again in Clarksville.”
